I'm not sure if I understand this song.

Someone told him, that being "elder" is great and easy and that his generation will be happy, right? Or he was observing elders and he concluded that it's "cool" to be elder? If the second one, why he feels like someone lied to him? That "someone" can be him only,right? Now those "elders" are judging his generation that they are not like them? Or he found out that "elders" aren't that perfect as they pretend to be?

I can actually say that the Self Titled album is the best album.
No questions asked, Awesome solos, and dexters voice was mind blowing..


P.S: I have an audio that is a performance of A Thousand Days, It's really old, I'm supprised becuase of the fact that Dexter actually sang it higher than the original, And he pulled it off, Ahhh Dexter was a really good singer..

elders is such a great song, nice melody and lyrics, but hey, arent we talking about offspring here? :P

I love the whole CD. My favorite track is a cross between Demons and Crossroads.

Elders is a good track. I wish they still played it live.

Jennifer Lost The War, Out On Patrol, Demons and I'll Be Waiting are my favourite of S/T at the moment.

I actually prefer Revelations to Out On Patrol, the opening solo is awesome, it's what Out On Patrol needs.

Elders is a great song also, especially when the 'look at all the familes now' part kicks in. But I tend to overlook it by those other 4 songs.
