View Full Version : lol, Disney's "Race To Witch Mountain" TV Spot

Eh, I don't normally post up stuff like this, but I found it slightly amusing.

So I watching TV last night and during the commercials they had a TV Spot for Disney's upcoming movie, "Race To Witch Mountain" starring The Rock. Anyway, half way into the trailer the song "Stuff is Messed Up" started blarring over the action-montage scenes. It was obviously the chorus part (The Lalalalala's , "It's all about the dream..")

I thought it was funny cause we all know that song is pretty explict yet they were using it for this Disney action movie. I tried looking for the spot on YouTube, but I can't seem to find it.

Anyway, thought I'd share. Heh.

They've been testing this song out with limited radio play and stuff like this. They know that this song has potential to be a hit. I agree.

That's really funny if you actually know the song!
And it is musically nice, so I can imagine them putting it there, but STILL.

when i heard the preview thingy on T.V. i thought it was my phone. then i'm like, what the fuck. offspring and disney? how will this work. i kinda want to see the movie just so i know how they edited it. before realizing it was disney i was actually thinking about how maybe they might start playing offspring on some of the radio stations around here. still highly doubtfull. i hope so though. the only station in the state that plays them doesn't come in very well. and it's ONLY Self Esteem and Come out and play. we need a litle more but i'm thankfull for what i have.

Haha, I remember the original movie back in the 90s. It wasn't very good. This won't be, either.

Hey, it's not unusual. Arnold moved onto movies after being mr. universe. I heard he calls the rock "his replacement" as an action superstar.

I love the Rock.. I think he's fucking hilarious, and all around good. I was really surprised when a wrestler pulled that through. He's no Al Pacino - obviously - but I think he does fun and watchable one timers...
