Has anyone heard this before? I downloaded the album mirror of madness by a band called norther. Little did i know that there was a cover of smash on there. I think it's pretty good, but of course doesn't even compare to the real one.

First time I heard it was like two-three years ago. I quite like it.

Norther is a finnish band by the way :)

Probably the best song on their album. Lol.

I've known that cover for 5 years, or maybe more and I still love it. Norther are pure awesomeness.

I think the singer of that band around the time it was recorded is now in a really famous band that even made some of the billboard chart and is doing well in the U.S which is rare for a Finnish band.

The cover is mostly a tribute to The Offspring's Smash album because it saved and helped the Finnish record company to boost their business because of the massive sales.

The singer's in Ensiferum, not sure if they've ever made the charts other than Finland. They're touring Australia in a couple of months.

Definitely have, even in 2007. And now the new album has done even better.

PS. I saw the band about a month ago in here. Are you going to see them in Australia?

Yes, they're participating in a "festival" called Screamfest.
