I think the whole fucking bible is nothing but SHIT.
plain crap.
there is no god, jesus has never existed, no satan, no fucking heaven or hell.
sorry to use rude words, but I think that religions have brought much more suffering in this world than good.
god is merely people`s invention, when people began to have enough mental capabilities to create fictionary punisher who would supervise that the laws made for him won`t be broken. People believed in magic still in 15th century..

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Jesus did exist, their are old records and stuff. Plus the polemics between the early christians after his death have been found.
It was likely he was married to a Miryam Of Magdalen, but she was not the prostitute we know her to be, and he abstained from sexual relations, or so it's believed.

People have brought suffering based upon their own translations on ideas, which can take place in any arena.

No one takes what you say seriously, especially since you don't even bother to get simple things like spelling correct.
the holy grail is real and is around us somewhere, is it a cup/chalice or something different?
Indiana Jones already found it in Raiders of the Lost Ark and it was a wooden cup, luls.
Why would Jesus bother to get married and then keep it secret? Who would he be hiding it from, God? As God's son Jesus would be like, "Oh yeah, dad's omnipresent, can't trick him, luls."
Or are you going to try to tell me that it's some big conspiracy made up by the (insert denomination {probably Catholic}) Church to hide the fact that (random bullshit) from (whomever) to proves that (more random bullshit and probably something to do with either aliens or time travel)?

Jesus existed without a doubt. Probably wasn't the son of God though. Anyone watch Stargåte? I think Jesus was an Ancient
The problem with the Bible is that it was pieced together from apocryphal texts to suit the Church dogma. Therefore you won't find perfectly valid texts such as the Book of Enoch or the First Book of Adam and Eve accepted by any of the religions. Now, this does little to aid the discussion on the existence of God, but it does prove that the Bible is by no means the "word of God" (unless you count the commandments and Mohammed). So before even approaching the question of the validity of all this stuff, it should first be put into perspective. What are we arguing against when we say God doesn't exist? Because the proof (Holy Books) are highly selective and omissive in the favour of gain for the Church, not for proving God's existence. If the Church would be more interested in their faith than domination and power, then we'd be in business... fact is, when we argue against the existence of God, we're arguing against weak counter-arguments.
That was so totally random, but what the Hell. Can't disprove something if it's not even relevant.

actually that makes sence.
I have to take some of my words back. There might have lived a guy called jesus.
I don`t believe he was the son of god tho. or had any superpowers.
and, I don`t believe there could be the kind of god that bible has descibed, because if there was, there wouldn`t be so much needless suffering in the world all the time. Is our god bad..
and if there was a god like that, why wouldn`t he reveal himself to people, if he wanted people to have faith in him. can one seriously expect others to have faith in someone who hides all the time.
bible, the holy book, is also filled with faults and things that contradict each other..

I was wanting to see the Da Vinci Code, but i was seeing Team America instead.
To be honest, what the bible says doesn't matter. Society is too fucked up to handle the possibilities. According to the bible Jesus will again walk the earth.
Pictures this: some guy randomly appears out of nowhere wearing nothing but rags and he claims he's Jesus.
The public reaction = "fuck off you lowlife piece of shit. Go back to the gutter"
Nobody would believe he was actually Jesus.
Anyway, the bible contradicts itself numerous times. The reason the Da Vinci code is under fiction is because it hasn't been proved correct. Neither has the bible, but that doesn't get put in fiction. It's a load of fucking balls. Christians get brainwashed. They know it, but the sit there and take it. It's the same with a lot of religion.
I don't know if there is a god, but i'm just glad i don't follow an organised religion. When they die and there turns out to be nothing but death, they'll never know they wasted their life believing in a greater power to comfort themselves. Religions are just mainstream cults.

No, the reason that the Da Vinci Code is placed under the category of fiction is because it is, in fact, a work of fiction. Dan Brown is a fiction writer with other books that fall into, you guessed it, the fiction category. The Da Vinci Code is just something that pseudo intellectual atheists read in attempt to make themselves seem that much more intellectual. It's just like when college students think that they have the intellectual world by the balls simply because they attend some university, faggotry.

Psh, get with the times, wheelchairman! Blindly denying the possibility of Jesus' existence is all the rage right now! I even bought a brand new "Jesus Never Existed" t-shirt at Banana Republic yesterday afternoon.

How do we know that there was some smart-ass genius like Mozart but in writing, that he probably wrote a story people warshipped for being so good or something.
Then people started to add more to the story.
It's all tall-tale.

I can't stand it when people around me who know that I typically read literature attempt to engage me in conversations on this book. And when they learn that I haven't and don't intend to, they'll go like : "well you should definatly read it, it's like so smart and so educating and it teaches you a lot about life".
Fuck that.

While the DaVinci Code may be an engaging novel, it is important to note that pretty much everything he had to say about religion, save the fact that Jesus did act exist, is based largely on conspiracy theories rather than fact. Sorry.

Dan Brown can suck my balls, suck them long and suck them hard.
I have very little talent and crazy idea's, but am I a rich and famous author?
Yeah, I'm jealous, so what.
I read a little of one of his earlier books because a friend of mine was reading it, but quickly got sick of all the crap he was trying to portray as fact, even before the actual story began. I found him to be like Michael Crichton, if Michael Crichton wasn't highly intelligent and generously talented. Seriously, if you feel like reading Dan Brown try Michael Crichton, or poking yourself with a stick.

Jesus didn't exist more than the profet muhammed. His story just got a bit more popular in our world. like people have said, the bible is put together from bits and pieces found in caves and handed down from generation to generation. Things are bound to have been changed, pumped up or left out.
