well...somehow my musics root files got mixed with my normal tag files...and i just deleted everything thinking theyre root files....this whiped about 5000 songs out of my computer...right now though...im worried bout getting my Offspring collection back...if anyone here is kind enough...id appreciate it so much...

at this point ill do anything lol...ive almost restored my NOFX, Vandals, and other albums

Do you have any physical copies of their CDs? Upload those first and determine what you still need from there. I might be able to help if you post a list of the songs you still need.

this happened to me when I made my live Offspring album. Two discs full of the best live records I could get my hands on, and I thought I'd copied it to a different file without checking...big BIG mistake.
To this day I have not been able to rebuild up to the point I'd been at last time. Now If you'll excuse me, I'm off to cry in the dark.

The moral of this story is simple: back up your files to another disc, hard drive, folder, etc.
