I had these sentences I had to do for my exam. I noticed quite a few of them were religion-based and really, didn't have to be so.
Examples:
6. Religious people go to church four times a month.
16. God and the devil compete over people's souls.
17. If you are a bad person, you will get a one-way ticket to Hell. (My personal favourite.)
28. Would you believe a little boy who told you he admired the Pope?
This one has no religion references but I just found it funny because I think he actually may believe in it:
33. The Simpsons can be compared to the plays of the immortal Shakespeare, can't they?
(The point of this exercise was to practise articles.)
