Hi i was wondering if any of you know where I can get a really cheap electric guitar. I'm modifying it for a project i'm doing. I would prefer it to be under £20 an im not keen on bidding 4 fings

Ha, you're an idiot if you think you could find an eletric guitar for £20. Did you mean £200?

The cheapest guitar that is relatively okay is the Yamaha Pacifica. It's a Strat copy that's better than the Squier, and it's only about 170$. I have no idea how many pounds that is.

The cheapest of the cheapest electric guitars are at least $100.

Meh. I have a Fender Squier that was $130 bucks. IT's not the greatest, but it's helping me learn anyway.

My Ibanez RG170 was £70 from Ebay, so it is possible to get cheap guitars but not that cheap.

Wow, I thought my guitar was cheap at $200! I guess it's because I ordered it right from the website. A used one would probably be about $80.

whatever you do, don't get a monterey.
they have strats for about $180 in aussie money,
but they really aren't worth it. They suck.

Go to england and go to brighton then go to da music shop next to da pound shop called big rock go in then go to da bassment of da shop and there you go :D

Its for a project. I don't want a brand new guitar......i want to buy a rubishy little second hand piece of junk for me to modify. I want to get new pick-ups, new tone/volume controls, paint job, guitar stickers, scratch-plate, strings machine heads.

It'll end up being a waste of time but its something for me to do in my spare time (and I have a lot of that) and I really don't want to repaint my telecaster and cover it in stickers......i love it way too much :D

i dont really know where you could get a cheap guitar but this dude at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/charlottecooper/guitarsite/ bought and modified guitars and bought them for about what ur lookin for. maybe you could check it out and figure out where he found his.. i cant remember if it says and im too lazy to go back and find out.
