Super Nintendo games.
If you know any games that beat:
Contra 3: The Alien Wars Top Gear International Superstar Soccer Deluxe Rock'N Roll Racing Double Dragon 2 Battletoads Mortal Combat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Lost in Time Post theyr names here and i'll play it and review it. (as someone who knows that Super Nintendo was the last good video game ever built by man kind.) |
Super Metroid
Chrono Trigger |
I completely agree. the Super SNES was the peaking of gaming efficiency. It's impossible these days to be so into a game that you can spend hours in front of the screen with just some candy.
Zelda was good Super Mario Allstars Final Fantasy 2 |

Fo' sho'........ EDIT: Also gotta love Donkey Kong Country ... |
Donkey Kong gets old...
|
Super Metroid: Oh yeah, i forgot about that one. Definetly one of the best. It's full of innovations on character movements, scenario mapping and dark music ambience. Not to mention the inventory/map on pause screen.
Chrono Trigger, Mario All Stars: I never tried those although they were very famous. I'm downloading it. Zelda, Final Fantasy series: I don't know, i'm still affraid of actually enjoying japanese looking gameplay. |
I need to find a decent emulator now that you mention it. Any suggestions?
EDIT: I found Snes9X, looks good. |
chrono trigger
earthbound final fantasy six (three in the us) ogre battle shaq fu star ocean super mario all stars tales of phantasia zelda iii - link to the past |
Chrono Trigger

Spork, I use SNES9x. I think it's a good emulator. SNES games everyone should play: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Gemfire Super Metroid Chrono Trigger (at least twice, all the way through, no matter how long it takes you) Super Mario World Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest Final Fantasy 2 Breath of Fire Super Punch Out!! Super Merio RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Imports: Dragon Ball Z 2 Dragon Ball Z 3 Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension I have many many many more to suggest, but I think I've given you enough hours of playing time for now. |

Yeah, I remember using Snes9X but it had some problems playing allstars, like distorted sound.

I heard that was really good...why the fuck can't companies do that anymore? Actually make something good with a fuckin liscense... |
Mega Man X 1, Mega Man X 2, and Mega Man X 3 are the best games ever made. I'm surprised Mari Kart didn't get mentioned. It's extremely fun when you play with other people but single player is still good.
EDIT: I forgot the Street Fighter series. |
I use the snes9x too and i get my ROMs at romnation.net, but i just realized they don't have ANY Super Mario titles (shame). Now i'm really curious about the SMario All Star.
Any good ROM sites? |

Metroid Prime
Zelda games and Mario games. |
HAHAHA Super Punch-out, how could i forget that? I had so many fights with my brother because of that game...
Chrono Trigger: i don't like it. But it's definetly a rich game. Storyline, easy inventory/actions/money/exchanging, freedom to go anywhere whenever you want, lots of characters to interact to and, of course: http://g2.gigafoto.com.br/2005/09/04/3185209.jpg NAMING MAIN CHARACTERS! Quote:

Double Dragon 2 was on NES and Gameboy. Hell, Double Dragon III was on regular NES as well.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/search/index...agon+2&x=0&y=0 Battletoads was on NES. "Battletoads & Double Dragon" was a game on SNES, maybe that's what you're thinking of. |

the hell, i've been playing an adaptation?? That would explain the horrific bugs on the gameplay.
but i'm not mistaken for Battletoads & Double Dragon, i'm making a mess because i had the NES before the SNES and these are mixing up in my head. |

Oh, I just remembered which game Super Punch-out is! How could I foget about it? I spent countless hours playing it but I only rented it for a couple of days. I never actually owned so I didn't get to play it as much as I would have liked to.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Super Mario Kart in here! That game is incredible. I've been known to flip on fools who cheat by looking at my screen.
Oh, and let's not forget F-Zero. And Double Dragon 2 is DEFINITELY an NES game. Oh, how my cartridge is worn. *pets it* |
I was introduced to F-Zero and Super Mario Kart through their N64 sequels, F-Zero X and Super Mario Kart 64, respectively. The SNES versions are great. I also hear Star Fox is a good game, though I've only played the N64 version, Star Fox 64.
Edit: On a different note, the Mega Man series is easily the best one on the Super Nintendo. |
killer instinct anyone?
was always a favourite of mine, along with The Lawnmower Man - the VR flying parts were good fun |
