Americana (the album)
What do you think about the Americana album? I think it's the best album, but not many people here like it though and I don't know why. Vote in the poll for what you think of the Americana album.

I'd say it's their 2nd best album!
When I downloaded it, I would have it on repeat whenever I listened to it.

way to go and make the poll options as confusing as hell
There was no "it's good but not their best" option. That's what I would have put. I don't like the more commercial Americana/CO1 stuff much but at least there's no tracks that I don't like (unlike on CO1 where I usually skip Want You Bad, One Fine Day and Denial Revisited). Pay the Man is an excellent way to finish the album, also one of my favourite Offspring songs.

It's not bad but it set them up for CO1 and now so many people think they're posers and sell outs. And CO1 is probably why Splinter sold so little, which is a shame because its their best in my opinion.

Americana is ALL appreciated appart from Pretty Fly, though it does make me giggle sometimes, i think that song irritates me because it seems to be the song that defines Offspring to people who don't know them... and there are so many other songs that showcase them much, much better, and i find it so fucking frustrating when someone says they love Offspring, but only know Americana...
 But WTF do i know? Guess that has no bearing on the actual ALBUM ITSELF and there are still some fucking awesome songs, like Pay The Man...
