Infectious Grooves are stupid, angry fun. And they've got a great bass-player. You should check out Suicidal Tendencies if you like them. They're something like 3/4 of the same band. They started out as a hardcore band and kinda grew into a hardcore/funk-metal thing that sounds like a heavier version of Infectious Grooves.

Rob Trujillo, and yes it's the new guy in Metallica.

Infectious Grooves only started out with 2 of the same people as S/T (i.e. Mike Muir and Rob Trujillo. Though Josh Freese played drums on Infectious Grooves' first album and also played on S/T's album that was released the same time, but he was never an official member). Then as people ended up leaving both bands they ended up having like 3-4 of the same people in them.
